Reviews for Bialetti 6990 Mukka Express Cappuccino Maker, Polished Aluminum (Kitchen) ...and in the adventure you do it makes a nice latte or cappucino. Follow the directions explicitly, or you should have a multitude in your fingers, as every other reviewers have pronounced. Now that I've had it a few months, it comes out completely (including a whole lot of foam, if that's what you choose)99% of the time. When there's a problem (leaking, exploding, and so on., as noted by using others) this is because you haven't performed something right. When instructions are followed, it works just great. Some things to particularly watch out for:

-Be certain the rubber seal is correctly seated.
Reviews for Bialetti 6990 Mukka Express Cappuccino Maker, Polished Aluminum (Kitchen) ok, let's be trustworthy, in case your looking to spend lower than $400 that is most likely your perfect guess. Anything below that price goes to have it is idiosyncrasies (read "problems") But for the cash this may also be a nice purchase, and if you make the effort with it in the beginning you'll be happier in the end. And within the time that I have had mine here is what I discovered.

First off - learn the instructions!
    - Throw away the first 3 - 5 cups (read "don't drink") think of this as seasoning your Mukka
    - Use a rough espresso grind, too fantastic and the water does not make it thru and then it's leaking everywhere your range.
    - Don't pack-down (tamp) the bottoms within the filter basket, see drawback above.
    - Don't fill the filter basket with grounds while it's sitting within the water reservoir, instead grasp it in your give up the sink to prevent getting floors far and wide the seals. See downside above.
    - Clean all of the floors off the seals. See downside above.
    - Wet the seals with water before brewing. See problem above.
    - Turn the warmth down, regulate your gasoline in order that the flame does not go past the edge of the mukka, this may simply occasionally give a carry to your foam even though I do not know the physics of it, it simply seems to work better if the heat is now not too high.
    - Use "cold" Whole milk, I have tried 2%, half and 1 of 2, 1/2 2% and 1/2 half of and 1 of 2, and had one of the best possible foam with complete milk, however it is not ever going to be "micro-foam" and it's no longer going to come out white, cause the coffee does the steaming.
    - Let the Mukka steam the milk after which wait a minute leaving it on the warmth until it steams once more, I think that second boil is important for taste, and it makes the espresso excellent and sizzling.
    - Pour your cappucino or latte right into a cup and IMMEDIATELY smooth the Mukka, or at the least soak it with water so the milk would not dry up. Don't worry your coffee will nonetheless be hot. See recommendation above.
    - on the steamer there's a black button you push for cappucino and below that a grey collar which you can carry up. PULL UP ON THE GRAY COLLAR and rotate the steaming mechanism counter clockwise to put off the steamer. If you don't pull up on the grey collar just right success on getting the steaming mechanism off.
